Board Painting

COCO MEDINA

Graphic designer and illustrator Cocomedinaa will come to Push Forward Fest for both an exposition and a workshop. Combining her love for illustrating, designing and skateboarding, she enthusiastically started painting boards too. Getting her inspiration from the strength and energy of both flamenco and skate culture, her boards surely move and fly with their own powerful identity too!

Promoting body diversity through art

CARMEN SUYA

Carmen Suya is an illustrator from Barcelona, who uses her artwork to reflect on the everyday life. Through her artwork, she aims to normalize certain natural elements such as body hair, menstruation and mental health, as well as to celebrate bodily and gender diversity. Go check out her art exhibition during the festival to find out about the diverse and authentic representations in her illustrations!

Mural Artist

NADIE ME DICE ARTE

Mural artist Diego is working with paste up technique to spread his social criticism all over the world. His project Nadie Me Dice Arte - meaning “Nobody tells me art” - can be found in Spain, France, Italy, Morocco, Lebanon, Poland, Brazil and Chile. Diego originally comes from a mixed family in South America and has been living in Europe for the past five years. During Push Forward Festival he will talk about his determination to raise awareness through art and to break down stereotypes, inspiring new generations on issues such as migration, racism and the repression of women.

Photographer

ARCADI DE MIGUEL

You can find Catalan photographer Arcadi at the event with a camera in his hand. Combining his passion for photographing and skateboarding, he aims to capture images that may awaken all ranges of feelings and emotions in those who look at his
pictures.

FABXLOUS

Creative soul and DJ, Fabxlous considers herself an artistic music-holic and will bring you tunes to dance on - full of light and good vibes. As she mixes tropical sounds with disco and house music, she will take you through her Chilean roots to discover all the colors of the new Latino waves.

COLECTIVO MUVUKA

The Colectivo Muvuka consists of two friends who met through music in 2021 in the city of Barcelona, through their shared passion for the rhythms of Dub, Reggae, Funk Dance, Jungle, Drum and Bass and more. They work together in composing songs, radio streaming and perform at events – like ours! They also organize events throughout the year bringing together music, art, performance, visuals and flash tattoos!

COSY ROSI

Born in Congo and now based in Barcelona, Cosyrosi is a talented singer-songwriter with a unique voice and style. Her first debut solo album Simplicated will be released soon, in which she draws from a wide range of genres and influences, making her a truly unique and exciting talent to discover. Together with artist and producer DaFabi on guitar, she will showcase deeply personal and emotionally resonant songs during the
festival!

Rooms For Roomers is joining us as our official partner for the artistic direction of Push Forward Fest! With their deep passion for art and music, they organize events that celebrate artistic expression. We are working with them to select outstanding local artists that will showcase their talent during the festival And also: get ready for the after party that @rooms_bcn will organise, to keep us dancing throughout the night!
